Rental Policy
Thank you for choosing Unique Events by T. Nichols. We are committed to providing quality rental items and exceptional service. By placing a rental order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Reservation & Payment
- A signed rental agreement and a non-refundable retainer are required to reserve your event date.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before your event.
- Orders placed within 14 days of the event require full payment at the time of booking.
Rental Period
Rental prices are based on a one-day event unless otherwise specified. Additional rental days are available for an extra fee.
Delivery, Setup & Pickup
- Delivery, setup, and pickup services are available for an additional fee.
- Customer pickup is available by appointment.
- Someone 18 years or older must be present at the scheduled delivery and pickup times.
Care of Rental Items
Customers are responsible for all rental items from the time of delivery or pickup until they are returned.
Please do not:
- Wash, dry clean, or iron rental items.
- Cut, pin, staple, glue, tape, or alter any rental items.
- Use rental items near open flames.
- Store items while wet or dirty.
Damaged, Lost, or Missing Items
The customer is responsible for the replacement cost of any rental item that is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
Cleaning
Please remove all food, trash, and personal belongings before returning rental items. Normal laundering and cleaning are included. Excessively soiled items may be subject to an additional cleaning fee.
Cancellations
- Retainers are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are not eligible for a refund.
- If available, payments may be transferred to a new event date within 12 months.
Weather Policy
Outdoor events are booked at the customer’s risk. Rental charges remain due regardless of weather conditions.
Liability
Unique Events by T. Nichols is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the misuse of rental equipment after delivery or customer pickup.
Acceptance of Terms
By placing a rental order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Rental Terms and Conditions.
